Funding documents
The purpose of these documents is to streamline the existing application process and provide greater clarification of the FTF evaluation criteria. They are the result of much work and input from across the FTF spectrum including the Projects Team, FTF Volunteer Co-Leads, FTF Board members, and brainstorming sessions with Roundtable Members.
The Evaluations Matrix is the first time a numerical scoring approach has been used for FTF project evaluations. The summary result will be provided to all applicants who reach Phase Two of the process. The intention is to inform a rejected applicant in sufficient detail to be of use for a future application. Approved applicants can also potentially benefit from the summary matrix evaluation to strengthen their project going forward.
Approved projects will now require a mutually-acceptable funding agreement that contains the FTF Reporting Requirements. The purpose of this contract is to clarify the responsibilities of both parties. The first two funding agreements entered into may be viewed on FTF Projects – Sewing Seeds (Sierra Leone) and Open To Grow (Nicaragua).
Please contact your Roundtable Liaison, Project Coordinator, or Lesley McKinnon with any questions.
