Since 2008 the Fig Tree Foundation, in collaboration with Vistek, has collected and distributed used digital cameras to international aid and development organizations around the world, through the Camera Initiative. The cameras, which are generously donated by Calgarians, are placed in the hands of local project participants, volunteers and staff to learn a skill, create economic opportunities and photograph their world as they see it.

The As We See It Photo Exhibit highlights images from projects that received cameras as well as images submitted by staff and volunteers from Calgary-based development organizations that participate in the FTF Roundtable.
